My Free Inquiry: Learning to Scrapbook
Why I choose Scrapbooking:
For my free inquiry project, I decided to learn how to scrapbook. I chose this because my mom has been scrapbooking since my older brother was born, and I have always enjoyed looking through the scrapbooks that she has made over the years. I think scrapbooking is a creative way to save memories and tell stories through photos, decorations, and writing.
What I already Know:
I have some experience looking at scrapbooks and seeing my mom create them, but I have never really made one myself. I know that scrapbooking involves photos, paper, decorations, and different layouts, but I do not know much about the different techniques or styles.
What I Want to Learn:
My goal is to become more comfortable creating scrapbook pages and learn how to choose layouts, colours, photos, and decorations that work well together. I also want to learn different techniques and eventually develop my own style instead of copying examples.
How I Will Learn:
Throughout this inquiry, I plan to learn from my mom, research scrapbooking online, look at different examples for inspiration, and experiment with different materials and layouts. I will document my progress through this blog and include photos of my work as evidence of my learning.
What I Hope to Discover:
I am excited to see how my skills and confidence develop throughout this project and discover what kind of scrapbooker I can become.
